A track day is an opportunity for you to drive your own car on a race track in a fun, safe, non competitive environment. Typically split up into "Run Groups" based on your experience level. Often referred to as an "HPDE" ( High Performance Driving Experience) or (High Performance Driver Education)

Yes! We provide basic classroom and on track driving instruction for beginners. You may also bring your own personal instructor as a passenger in your car. If you instructor wishes to drive there would be an additional charge. Please email us in that scenario.
We recommend Hagerty . They can give you a personalized insurance quote.
Yes. Helmets are required for divers and passengers with a rating of Snell 2010 or newer, M or SA . At this time we do not have helmet rentals available.
Yes. If you wish to share you car and run time in one group there will be a small additional charge depending on venue. If you want to share your car in two sperate groups, it would be considered a second entry and the driver would have to sign up as well.
Convertibles are allowed with a proper roll bar, or vehicles with factory "roll over" protection. Trucks or high center of gravity vehicles are not allowed except in the case that it is purposely built for road racing. Please email us in that scenario.
One passenger in the front passenger seat is allowed. Must be 18 or older, and sign a waiver. Must have a helmet that meets requirements.
Yes, but it depends on if the other groups are at capacity. Examples are:
You are in beginner group but are clearly more experienced and faster than the rest of the group, you may request to "move up" a group if space permits.
Also if you are in advanced group and are not at the same experience level as the rest of the group, we may move you into a different group for safety reasons.
At this time we do not have a timing transponder system, but you may use your own GPS timing unit or phone app.

To register on your own, you must be 18+ years of age with a valid drivers license. If you are under 18, and hold a valid license, you may drive with a legal parent / guardian present and prior experience, with the proper forms filled out. Email corey@chicaneusa.com for more info.
